Public Drunkenness

I've nothing against drinking; I do a little myself. But I've never liked public drunks. I find them embarrassing and potentially dangerous. In college, when a fraternity-mate might be a little too disorderly and I might have tried to calm him down, others would say, "Hey, man, it's not his fault. He's drunk."

  1. Sid, I know the 60's were a little before your time...
    The REAL 60's...
and I can picture you in some Southie Tavern, 1964, with your Ducktail, Leather Jacket, tossin back a shot and a beer with your longshoreman buddes, pack of Luckys under your shirt sleeve, puttin a quarter in the Juke Box, I don't know, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, just so those longhairs couldn't listen to those damn Homos from Liverpool...
    Cause Rick Perry wasn't drunk.
    Not on alcohol anyway...
    That monolog was ACID, baby...
